| 12573 | Submitter: Herb Tennyson Subject: Tennysons in Kentucky Message: Hi. I don't know if this helps but my dad was named Herbert L Tennyson, he was born in Haskell, Ok. October 4, 1919 to Markie Tennison and "Dottie" Dorothy Francis Brassfield. Grandad was born near the I.T. and Arkansas state line in a wagon. His dad lived around Jasper, Arkansas But had relatives in southern Mossouri and they moved there from the small community of Tennison, Indiania. They moved there with the Lincoln's from Kentucky. I would be glad to trade info. Good luck and God Bless H.T. P.S. My wifes e-mail is MedievalLady@Netzero.net ******************* Dear Michael: I am Herb Tennyson Jr.. I have enjoyed your web page and have a little added information for you. My Grand mother was Dorothy Francis Brassfield Tennyson. She was married three times, the first time to my grandfather William Mark (Markie) Tennison, then to Jeff Hudson and last to Ed Smith. Grandma Dottie and grandpa Markie lived at Haskell for a time but divorced when my dad was quite young. She then married Jeff and moved to Claremore, Oklahoma where dad moved to as a young man 15 or so and also where uncle Benton lived (It seems that dad and Jeff didn't get along very well). Jeff died in a train car wreck at Sequoyah, Oklahoma. In her later years she married Ed Smith, who she lived with until his death, and passed away a year or two afterward. She and Ed are buried next to each other at Woodlawn Cemetery in Claremore, Oklahoma. Uncle Ben and my dad and mom are also buried there. P.S. My dad's name was Herbert Lee Tennyson(grandma changed the spelling of the last name when she signed dads birth certificate). Yours in Christ Herb | BRASSFIELD, Francis Lee (I38108)
